We know we've got a great community of driven, insightful women here at Mylestones.

So, we asked a few of them to share their thoughts on International Women's Day and equality. Here's what they had to say…

What does International Women's Day mean to you?

"Dignity, equality, respect and collaboration for all women."  - Quita, Regional Manager, Mylestones Employment.

"It is a day for women to be united." - Shannon, a client at Mylestones Employment.

What do you think about equal opportunities for women and men in the workplace?

"Equality to me is ensuring all people have equal rights and opportunities. It doesn't bother me how many females or males work in an organisation. I believe the vision and values are what we should all be working towards" - Quita, Regional Manager, Mylestones Employment.

"It's important to have equal opportunities for men and women so that no one is missing out and it's all fair in the workplace." - Shannon, a client at Mylestones Employment.

A big thank you to Quita and Shannon for sharing! It's important to us that the opinions of people in our community, female and male, are heard and respected. After all, isn't that what International Women's Day is all about - being heard and respected?
