What is a Disability Social Enterprise?
A Disability Social Enterprise is a business that employs people with disabilities and offers opportunities for them to connect and contribute to their community. Often, employment opportunities for people with disabilities can be limited. But at Mylestones Solutions we’re committed to changing that.
What is the difference between SLES and Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA)?
The SLES program is centered around supporting clients who have aspirations for employment however require support to build independence and capacity to become job ready. Inclusive Employment Australia is for finding a job and maintaining employment.
The Inclusive employment Australia program offers eligibility to include people who have an assessed future work capacity of less than 8 hours per week, as well as those who do not receive an income support payment.

What is School Leaver Employment Support (SLES)
Mylestones Solutions offers the School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) to working age youth in their final years of school with employment goals in their NDIS plan.
SLES is intended for those not yet ready to move straight into open employment and instead require to build the confidence, skill development, and workplace exposure needed to find a job. Our employment support team work with participants to develop a core set of skills that help prepare for employment.
So, whether you want to figure out what to do next, or you just need help getting there, we will work with you to create a plan to reach your career goals.
SLES funding is generally available through NDIS for up to two years with participants working through a variety of individualised support plans.
What does the SLES program look like?
SLES is generally delivered in a combination of 1:1 and group-based activities. Group based activities are never more than 4-5 SLES clients at any given time.
SLES is designed to meet your employment aspirations, build independence and capacity to become job ready.

You’ll also have access to traineeships and skilled support workers to guide you each step of the way.
Mylestones Garden Crew: Our garden crews employ people with disabilities to service small commercial gardens and undertake maintenance programs across Queensland for businesses. All staff receive training on how to use the equipment.
